The Scoop:
So I was on Amazon and they had this new section of "interesting finds." Lo and behold, this beauty was in the mix so I snapped it up along with 3 others.  This is like a disco ball in a bottle and I love it!

The Scoop:
It's 2017! This combo is a bit much for me, but if you've ever imagined yourself as Elsa from Frozen, you just might love it.

Maybelline in Dust of Bronze & Mosaic Prison

The Scoop:
This is a pretty combo, and this brand is super cheap so splurge and get them both. Then your hands will look extra special when you ask the person sitting next to you at Thanksgiving to pass the cranberry sauce. And yes, I mean the kind from the can. We're being frugal, right?!

The Scoop:
This shade makes me think of summer. Man, I wish I was on vacation. Oh wait, I am! At a beach in Florida for Christmas, so I can tell you it looks great in the sand.

Butter London in Disco Biscuit

The Scoop:
Here's an oldie from Butter that reminds me of my love of ABBA and 70s disco. The shade is great and the iridescent microglitter pushes it over the top, but I wish it wasn't so sheer. LOTS of coats used here. But it will make you look good on the dancefloor.

Revlon in Pink Pineapple

The Scoop:
This shade is a bit too sheer for me.  It looks streaky, and makes my nails look ridgy. I will say, though, it kind of smelled like pineapples, so gold star for that!

Sally Hansen in Gilt

The Scoop:
I love gold polish in the summer.  It's the perfect shade for July. I put 3 coats on here to get a more opaque finish, but you can still see my nail underneath if you look hard enough.  That was a hassle.  But I still love gold.  And Sally.

OPI in Don't Violet Me Down

I hate this shade and this concept of sheer tints. I dislike it so much so that I took it off immediately and gave the polish away. No bueno, OPI.

The Scoop:
I wanted to like this shade, but I don't.  I used three coats here, but for some reason it's pretty streaky.  For about the same price (and a much better effect), you should use ultra-classic Essie's Ballet Slippers, which came on the scene in April 1982.

It might be odd to mix a color named after lingerie with one named after a Disney character, but whatevs. This look isn't really for me, but maybe Mickey would like it.

The Scoop:

This beauty line is available exclusively at Target, and is a great quality for the price.  I chose this shade because sometimes it's nice to give your nails a color break, and go with a sheer for a clean look.  Kind of like a nail detox before the holidays!

The Scoop:

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to have cupcakes on your fingers, I'm guessing this is it.  This is like a party in a bottle, which is why I chose it for my birthday!  It's loaded with glitter of all shapes and sizes.  I used 3 coats here, mainly to brighten up the base pink shade.  Make a wish...

The Scoop:

I got this one for obvious reasons.  It looks like a tribute to the color that started the whole nail polish craze: Essie's Ballet Slippers.  I think I've bought about 4 bottles of that shade over the years.  It's clean and classic -- like me!  I used 3 coats here for good coverage.  Everyone should own a shade like this.  Even if you never do your own nails.

The Scoop:

Inspired by their popular eyeshadow palette, this limited-edition set comes with 6 mini-bottles.  I went with the signature shade, plus an accent nail in glitter.  This whole kit is really versatile because the colors are neutrals, but I think nude nails look like mannequin hands so I'm not sure I'm a fan.  It did dry quickly, though!
