Ok, don't look at this one up close. I took it at the END of my manicure, not the beginning. But I was kind of amazed that I had this on for 10 DAYS! So, it's a little dull, and has tiny chips, but it looks pretty good. Nice work, Essie!

Essie in Winning Streak

This lucky shade is a nice alternative to greens around St. Patty's Day (or is it Paddy's Day?). Maybe if you wear it, you'll find a pot of gold!  And if you do, please call me.

I kinda love this one -- it's like Cinco de Mayo in a bottle. It's easy to find a good margarita.  It's hard to find a good orange. Wear this one to your next fiesta.

China Glaze in For Audrey

As much as I like my Tiffany's jewelry, I'm definitely over this blue period.  It's bougie. And also kind of hurts my eyes. Maybe I might like it better on my toes -- where you forget you have it on, and then you take your shoe off and it's like, oh hey, piggies!

Ulta in Sun of a Gun

I don't typically love Ulta polishes.  But we have some big meetings for work in LA this week, and our color is orange, so this shade was perfect.

Covergirl in Nemesis

The Scoop:
This shade is almost black. Like Darth Vader's soul. I'm not really into Star Wars (and if I was, I'm a fan of the old school variety), but this caught my eye in CVS. I hate being left out of a pop culture sensation. Plus, I hear this is the color Chewbacca uses on his toes.  Good choice!

Gap in Blue Lava

This shade makes me think of summer. Man, I wish I was on vacation. Oh wait, I am! At a beach in Florida for Christmas, so I can tell you it looks great in the sand.

I thought purple would be a nice switch from blue, but all it made me do is wish I was wearing blue. Know what will make me feel better? Turkey. And stuffing. And taters. That's something to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!

I was feeling inspired by the season but I love this shade. There's just something about super dark nail polish that looks edgy and elegant at the same time. When you put the first coat on, you'll see it's plummy, but another coat or two will turn it black.

Covergirl in Emerald Blaze

I got a lot of compliments on this one -- it was green in some lights and brownish in others. A nice fall shade.

OPI in I Eat Mainely Lobster

The Scoop:
This shade is a clambake in a bottle (and is more neon IRL than it looks here). It's bright and sunny and you won't get sand in your suit. Only thing is it wasn't shiny enough for me out of the bottle so plan on a topcoat. Think of it as sunscreen!

OPI in Peace & Love & OPI

This is a fun one because it's a different color in every light. The photo doesn't do it justice. Purple in sunlight, green in fluorescent light, and gray pretty much everywhere else -- it's like a mood ring for your nails!

Today's my brother's bday, so in his honor, I went with his favorite color: Blue. This is a great one because it does stay on a long time without fading or chipping. Revlon's reliable like that. Just like my bro!

Summer has unofficially started, so it's time to show those pasty fingers and toes the sun! Only a bright color will do. Though, as much as I love Sally, this might not be the one. If it wasn't metallic, it could be great. But it is. So it's just kind of...cheap.  Color me crushed.
